The older child’s favorite restaurant is Hu Hot at De Zavala & I-10. He loves preparing all the ingredients by himself and then handing it over to the chef to cook in front of him.
First, he selects the choices of meat which are beef, pork, chicken, squid, meat ball, clam, and fish. Then he adds noodles and vegetables. The last step is to add sauces. The key to make the dish tastes good is to put a good combination of sauces. There are more than 10 sauces to choose from. The main sauces I always use for his dish are garlic broth and soy sauce. For my dish, I always try 5-6 combinations of sauces.
After handing over the ingredients to the Chef, he would fry them in front us. Sometimes, the flame from the fire goes up so high it makes us feel very hot for a few seconds.
It is all we can eat so you can go back as many times as you like. Don’t forget to put tips in the jar at the cooking counter to show your appreciation to all the chefs.
